MAZAR – “The Mouth of the Streets”
Real Name: Darius “Mazar” Jones

First Appearance: Night Reaper: Origins.
🔥 ORIGIN STORY – “THE EYES OF THE CITY”
Darius Jones grew up in the rough blocks of East Cleveland — a place where dreams die quick and hustle is survival. From a young age, Mazar learned one truth:
People talk.
And if you listen long enough, the whole world slips up.
He wasn’t strong like the street enforcers.
He wasn’t fast like the runners.
He wasn’t feared like the killers.
But Mazar had something they didn’t — Ears everywhere.
As a kid, he delivered newspapers, swept barber shops, stocked shelves at corner stores… and quietly listened. Drug deals. Police gossip. Gang beefs. Love affairs. Dirty money. Betrayals. Everyone underestimated him — the chubby kid with glasses and braids.
He weaponized it.
By 17, he was selling secrets to anyone who’d pay. Gangs paid him not to talk. Rivals paid him to talk MORE. Police tried to flip him — he flipped them right back.
Soon, the whole neighborhood called him:
“Mazar — The Street Oracle.”
But Mazar wanted more. Information was power. Power meant money. Money meant respect.
He started styling himself like a kingpin — golden chain, designer glasses, clean sneakers, expensive colognes — but everyone knew:
He wasn’t dangerous.
He just knew dangerous people.
And that made him valuable.
